On November 6, the San Bernardino County Board of Supervisors proclaimed the month of November as Entrepreneurship Month and November 20, 2018 as Entrepreneur’s Day. The proclamation recognizes that the County is home to countless thriving start-ups and Fortune 500 firms such as Garner Holt Productions the world’s leading producer of animatronics, founded in San Bernardino, and esri, a global leader and supplier of geographic systems, founded in Redlands.

As the Board further recognized, the County continues to support the entrepreneurial spirit through its partnership with educational institutions such as the Inland Empire Center for Entrepreneurship at California State University San Bernardino as well as local resources such as Inland Empire Small Business Development Center.

Moreover the County of San Bernardino continues to nurture the entrepreneurial mindset through its support of educational programs and career pathways in the K-12 system.

The Board’s proclamation goes hand in hand with President Trump’s proclamation of November as National Entrepreneurship Month and November 20, 2018 as National Entrepreneurs’ Day.
